how can I serve?

In Matthew 9:37, Jesus said to his disciples,

“The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the
Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Riverview Calvary Chapel’s Mission Statement:

Our Mission is to help people repair and restore fellowship with God in order to create passionate disciples.

Jesus made it clear that prayer is the foundation to any involvement in service. As you pray and seek God’s will in His word, He will direct your path.

Below are the requirements to serve at Riverview Calvary Chapel:

1. Read the Serving Opportunities list below, which gives a short description of the various ministries in the church.

2. Read the Statement of Faith & Core Beliefs. If there is anything you do not understand or agree with, we’d be happy to have a conversation with you.

3. Complete any application or prerequisite noted below for each ministry.

PRAYER team

Led by Rich Harvey
Riverview strongly believes that our church is directed by the will of God through the Holy Spirit; and that prayer is basic and necessary to remain in communion with Jesus Christ. The RCC Prayer Ministry provides our fellowship with an organized means for corporate prayer – We meet between the end of the first and before the start of the second morning services on Sundays, and also before the start of the mid-week service on Wednesday evenings. Also, we are meeting at the new property on the 4th Saturday of the month at 9:00am. All are welcome to participate on a regular basis for intercessory prayer (prayer for others) and/or ‘drop in’ personal prayer requests as you are led by the Spirit. Prayer requests can also be posted at any time to the Prayer thread of the RCC App, and will be added to the Ministry team’s prayer list. If you have any questions about our ministry, contact elder Rich Harvey directly, or by email at rich.rcc.harvey@gmail.com.

MISSION team

Led by Donnie & Shannon Tyson
RCC is fulfilling the commands of Matthew 28:19-20 of the Great Commission through our local church, through outreaches to our community, but also through international missionary partners. Our church currently supports our international missionary partners in 3 ways: by providing financial support, prayer support and by helping missionaries on the field via short term mission trips. Our prayer for the future is to continue to be a blessing to those missionary partners the Lord brings, but also to come alongside and provide support and training to men called by God to plant churches on the mission field. Please contact us if you are interested in being a part of reaching the Nations for Christ. Volunteers must have attended RCC consecutively for at least three months and consider this your church home. You may reach Donnie & Shannon Tyson at missions@riverviewcalvary
